SCENERY & PROPS
To assist the Stage Manager in preparing and setting up the stage with scenery, lighting, sound etc. This includes the construction and painting of scenery a few months in advance of the shows. Scenery construction usually takes place on Monday evenings at a church hall in Thornton Heath, and is friendly and informal with a lot of banter!
We also need assistance during the shows, and at our preceding technical rehearsals, to transport scenery to the venue, set up the scenery, lighting and sound systems, and generally help out in getting everything right for the show.
STEWARDS
To assist our Front-of-House Manager in ensuring that our audience is well cared for.
To sell programmes and show our customers to their seats etc.
To be available prior to and during performances.
REFRESHMENTS
To help with preparation and selling of tea, coffee and soft drinks and some confectionery.
To be available prior to and during performances.
